THE SELLER SAYS:
The things we have enjoyed most about living here are….
Being so close to nature! We are lucky to live near Latta Plantation, Lake Norman and the U.S. National Whitewater Center. So many Saturdays we walk our dogs on the nature trails at Latta or go kayaking at The Whitewater Center. It has also been great to be patrons of local mom and pop’s like Cafe 100 or Lupie’s located right down the road. We love the charming small town feel of Huntersville and the close access to downtown Charlotte when we want a more urban atmosphere.
What our neighbors are like…..
We will miss our neighbors the most when we move. We have spent countless nights on our back patio having dinner, drinking wine and playing corn hole with our neighbors. There are always at least a couple of holiday parties to attend and even recent talks of creating a History club for us history buffs on the street! Friendly, helpful and social… That’s our street!
We enjoy this particular house/floorplan because…..
We love the charm and coziness of this home. My husband truly enjoys his art studio downstairs and having so much closet and storage space for his artwork. I love reading a good book in front of the fireplace! We both really enjoy the privacy of having the master suite being the only space upstairs. In the spring and summer, we love being on our back patio when all the roses and flowers are in bloom.
Some things you may want to know are…….
Living in the Lake Norman area gives you the opportunity to attend monthly art crawls in Davidson and Cornelius as well as visiting the local farmers market in downtown Huntersville. Being so close to Historic Rural Hill and Latta Plantation you can attend many annual events such as “The Amazing Maze”, “The Scottish Fesitval” , “The Annual Sheepherding Trials” and the “Latta Plantation Ghost Tours.” There is always something fun to do!
