Why We Like Living Here and Why You Will Too!
The Things We have Enjoyed Most about Living Here Are:
  • Quiet, peaceful neighborhood
  • Love the warm feel of the home and how spacious it is, and great for entertaining
  • The backyard is truly an oasis with lush plants and bushes—the perfect pool for relaxing or fun parties and night swimming
  • The walking path is such a great feature, it lends to a healthy lifestyle
  • Davidson is a beautiful town
We Enjoyed This Particular Floorplan Because:
  • The best for entertaining
  • Open floor plan that leads nicely to the back deck & pool area
  • Yet the bedrooms are still hidden away so it feels like they have some separation from the main living quarters (family room & kitchen)
  • It’s great for a family or a couple looking for mainly one floor living
What Our Neighbors Are Like:
  • They are super friendly and helpful. When I have been out of town, they pull my trash cans in and even watered my lawn
  • They have neighborhood block parties, but being more of a private person, everyone always respects if you can’t attend
  • No one is in your business
  • The neighbors are friendly families, business people and stay at home moms—I will truly miss them
Some Things You May Want To Know Are:
  • I have owned 3 homes & this by far has been the best
  • The area, the feel of the house itself was just warm and safe
  • Living by yourself, safety is super important & this community is very tight knit
  • The value of a home in Davidson is also the best in this area—it’s truly a great investment
Property Features
  • In-ground pool with fence and mature bushes and shrubs
  • Crown molding
  • Plantation shutters
  • Night lighting in the front to highlight bushes and home in the evening
  • Upgraded pantry shelves

Kindred Davidson

Kay Fisher
& Lauren had the pleasure of attending Kindred Restaurant’s soft-opening this week, before its grand opening last night – February 19th.  Kindred Restaurant is owned by Davidson residents, Joe & Katy Kindred.  Joe is the former chef for Rooster’s Uptown and is now showcasing his creativity exclusively in Davidson.
When we arrived, the restaurant is very welcoming.  You enter into the main dining area and bar on the left.  The bar features a unique wood piece on the wall, that is part of the former drug store that occupied this building.  Kindred offers main floor dining, upstairs dining, patio dining (when warm!), and a unique 10-person chef’s table in the kitchen.
The menu is eclectic, offering items for every palate.  We started off with the milk bread appetizer with house-made butter.  We probably could have made a meal of the bread!  It was warm, a little salty & perfect with the butter.
From the menu, we ordered the winter lettuces salad – this came with dehydrated persimmons & spiced walnuts.  Our entrees were the pasture-raised chicken & the baked egg.  Kindred offers smaller plates for eating and sharing, but both of us were full from our bread, salads & entrees.  The Baked Egg was a hit – crispy jasmine rice, radishes, onion, cilantro & and egg on top, all served in a cast-iron skillet.
We finished our meal with Kindred’s birthday cake – a chocolate cake with sprinkles & a sweet cream ice cream.  This dish was amazing.
Kindred’s wait-staff are very well-versed in the drink & dinner menu.  Our server explained the dishes perfectly.  The ambience in the restaurant is very nice – perfect for a family dinner or romantic date night.
We have a feeling Kindred Davidson will be packed for dinner each night, with many repeat customers.  We know we are returning!
